Business Development Manager - New York, NY

The Business Development Manager is held accountable to the responsibilities listed below:

  • New Business Outreach - Supporting and soliciting new accounts using strategic methods and communication styles that convey Deeplocal’s value based on the brand lead’s goals (gleaned through research).
  • Lead Generation - Leveraging prospecting and research tools to determine brand leads.
  • Lead Follow-Up - Follow-up on leads; keep contact with leads for future opportunities.
  • Business Development - Supporting Senior Business Development Manager and Director of Client Services, along with CEO when necessary, to cultivate new client prospects; present capabilities; and coordinate, attend, and contribute to intro/pitch meetings.
  • Relationship Strengthening - Supporting the establishment and growth of meaningful relationships with senior level decision makers who could potentially become new clients. Managing relationships into new client contracts.
  • Market and Industry Analysis - Evaluating industry trends and adjusting new business strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Business Brief Development for Pitches - Asking the right questions to understand clients’ goals and objectives. Writing and sharing a brief with the creative and strategy teams that leads to well-informed ideas.
  • Pitch Deck Review - Providing input and reviewing pitch decks. Supporting creative and technical team leads as necessary to finalize materials for pitches.
  • Scope of Work Input, Review, and Approval - Supporting Producers as they draft scopes of work for first-time Client projects. Carefully reviewing and editing scopes of work prior to Client review.

This position will be a remote role, located in NY, NY. This position reports to the Director of Client Services.
